October is here!

The leaves are falling and the colours are beautiful! We spent September learning new routines and getting to know each other. Here is some information about the month ahead.

Home Reading has started. We will soon be bringing home French books with a CD.
Please make sure your child has their Home Reading bag in their backpack on the day they exchange their books.

Thank you for sending healthy snacks to school with your child. Everyone is to choose a healthy snack in the morning. Some students have expressed that they are still hungry at the afternoon recess. If possible, please send enough snacks for the morning and afternoon.

As part of our French, Math and Science programs, we will be studying pumpkins in October. Please send a small or medium size pumpkin to school by Thursday, October 9th so that we can get started on making our observations, measurements and doing writing activities.
