Picture Day is next Friday, October 4th. Please send all picture day forms in as soon as possible (if you have not already done so).

We have been sending home many different Media Release forms and there will be another one sent home tomorrow (Thursday, September 26th). Unfortunately, each different organization requires their own form and this has created various forms to be sent in the last few weeks. This should slow down soon!

We have Library every Day 1. Please return all books by Friday.

I will be away Thursday afternoon for a session called The Integrated Arts. I will be planning 3 visits with an artist who will be working with the students this Fall.

A new Scholastic book order will be sent home tomorrow. If you are interested in ordering, please send a cheque written out to Scholastic Canada Ltd by Thursday, October 3rd. Due to the large September order, I was able to use my bonus coupons to order almost $60 in books for the classroom. We received them yesterday and the students were excited to look at all the new books this morning during Silent Reading time.

Once again, we are collecting plastic bags. Please send any extras our way! Also, we are collecting used coats for needy children. There is a box set up by the office or you can send them to the classroom and I will put them in the bin.
